Meet Dr. Daniel Bruin
Dr. Daniel Bruin is a board-certified periodontist and implant specialist committed to delivering advanced periodontal and implant care with a personalized, relationship-based approach. As the founder of Rolla Periodontics and Implant Center, he is proud to serve patients throughout Rolla and the surrounding communities with a high standard of specialty care in a welcoming, hometown environment.
Dr. Bruin's interest in dentistry began with his appreciation for the profession's unique blend of science, technology, and precision. Throughout his training, he learned from exceptional mentors, many of them periodontists, whose expertise in preserving oral health and restoring function inspired him to pursue specialty training in periodontics and implant dentistry.
He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from Florida Atlantic University before graduating with honors from Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine. Following service as a general dentist, he completed the United States Army Advanced Education Program in Periodontics, earning both a Certificate in Periodontics and a Master of Science in Oral Biology. He later achieved board certification through the American Board of Periodontology, a distinction earned by a select group of specialists who demonstrate advanced knowledge, clinical expertise, and a commitment to lifelong learning. His research has been published in peer-reviewed journals, and he has lectured on a variety of periodontal, implant, and regenerative topics.
Training and Affiliations
Dr. Bruin is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and a member of the American Academy of Periodontology. He is LANAP-trained and provides comprehensive periodontal and implant care, including treatment of periodontal disease, dental implant placement, guided implant surgery, bone grafting, sinus augmentation, soft tissue grafting, esthetic periodontal procedures, and periodontal regeneration.

Why Rolla
Although his career has taken him across the country, Rolla became home for Dr. Bruin during his years serving patients at nearby Fort Leonard Wood. He recognized how much the region needed accessible specialty periodontal care, and opening a practice in Rolla allowed him to combine his periodontal training with his commitment to serving this community.

Life Outside the Office
Outside of Rolla Periodontics and Implant Center, Dr. Bruin is a father of two who values spending time with family. He is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys hunting, camping, fishing, kayaking, mountain biking, and woodworking, and he coaches youth soccer in the community he serves.
